| Grocery Bag Cutting Instructions |
FABRIC NEEDED:
* 5/8 yard each of two coordinating prints or solids
* 5/8 yard of batting (can use insulbrite, warm & natural or flannel, or
iron on batting
* 3/8 yard of third coordination print or solid for handles
* 3/8 yard of lightweight flannel for batting in handles
Cut the following from the two coordinating prints or solid for
the outside and the lining:
2 pieces of the outside fabric and 2 pieces of the lining fabric will be
cut at 20 1/2" X 19 1/2" (20 1/2" is the width in case you are using
directional fabric).
Then cut a 4" square out of the two bottom corners of both outside
and lining fabric.
Cut the batting, insulbrite or flannel into two 19 1/2" X 18" and also cut
the 4" squares out of the bottom two corners.
For Handles cut:
2 - 6" X width of fabric for handles
2 - 5" x width of fabric for inside of handles
