Cut two strips of red, white and blue - 1-3/8" wide by 22" long.
Sew strips together with white in the center. Press seams in one direction.
You will have two strips of red, white and blue material. Lay Template A on
the strips and cut out 8 pieces. Sew the pieces together to form the
center of the star.
Cut 4" square of background material (white pattern or light blue).
Cut one 6-1/4" square of the same background material. Then cut this
square into quarters. (See example) Mark the dots in the corners of the
back of the material with a pencil. Mark the dots in the corners of the
squares also.
Sew the 4" squares to the corners of the star center using the dots in the
corners as guides. Then sew the triangles in the centers of the square also
using the dots as guides. Press
